What to do After an Auto Accident
1. If the vehicles are driveable and it's safe to do so, it's a good idea to safely move the vehicles out of traffic to a nearby location where you can exchange information.
2. The police must be called immediately, if: there are any injuries, the damage exceeds $1000.00, or the vehicles are not driveable
3. Gather the following information as you will be asked these questions by your insurance broker and/or your claims adjuster, using this accident information checklist.
4. 1. If your vehicle is not driveable, be sure to remove all your valuables and lock the doors and trunk.
